Urbanization can cause a lot of problems in towns and cities. I am going to write about three problems and some potential solutions to those problems.
The first problem is traffic. More people in a city means more people need to travel from place to place. This means people will travel more slowly around the city. One solution to this would be having new transportation systems built, such as a new subway system. The government could also let people use public transportation for less money.
Another problem is pollution. More people moving to a city will cause more pollution. This can be air pollution from cars and motorbikes, and land pollution from trash. This can be difficult for sanitation services to deal with. One solution is to have more trees planted. They will help improve the air quality. Another is to get more people to clean the area.
The final problem is homeless people. Having more people without new affordable housing means people won’t have places to live. The government could have more housing built to deal with this. They could also make companies charge lower rents.
