The Future is Smart!

Do you have a smart device, like a mobile phone or a TV? In the future, smart technology will be everywhere and it will make our lives easier. Do you hate washing and cleaning? I know I do! Well, soon we might have robot helpers to do the housework! Don't like cooking? Buy an automatic food machine to do it Touch the screen to choose your meal and it will be ready in seconds! If you want new clothes or furniture, get a 3D printer to make them for you. Some companies  already make deliveries using drones. But soon, everyone will use them. The sky will be full of these little machines. The future is smart and I can't wait for it for you.

On June 16^th, 1963, Valentina Tereshkova, a Russian astronaut, became the first woman to explore outer space, but she only stayed there for three days.

Nowadays, astronauts stay longer on space stations. How do astronauts live and work in space for months when they always float?

When they work outside the space station, they have to wear spacesuits. However, when they are inside, astronauts wear clothes like we do on Earth. Doing exercise in space is different, too. It is easier to lift heavy things because there is no gravity. That means they have to use special exercise equipment. Life in space is really different from life on Earth.

The Future Houses Exhibition

Last weekend, my family went to the Future Houses Exhibition. It was really interesting to see how homes will change in the future. People might live in a lot of different places, like underground or under the sea. Many homes will be smart homes with robot helpers that do the chores. Other smart devices will even cook for us. I do not think I would like to live in a smart home. The technology might not work well. Now, you go to the toilet. In the future, you will use a smart toilet. What if the computer breaks? No, thanks I really want to live in an eco-friendly home somewhere in the country.
