MY VILLAGE

We are the Khmer Krom, one of the biggest ethnic groups in the south of Viet Nam. We live on farming – mostly rice – and fishing on the Mekong River. The dragon dance and the lion dance was originated from China, and it has been introduced to many parts of the world. Ethnic Groups

Vietnam is a multi – nationality country with 54 ethnic groups. The Viet (Kinh) people account for 87% of the country’s population and mainly inhabit the Red River delta, the central coastal delta, the Mekong delta and major cities.
