Les: For me, it has to be The Outsiders. I think I was 15 when my older brother first gave it to me. It's a real coming of age. No. I remember reading it so many times that in the end, some of the pages fell out. I know it was written by se Hinton. Leonardo DiCaprio and Claire Danes were the stars and the direction and costumes were really good. I think it came out in 1996. So I guess I was 16 when I saw it.
Caroline: It has to be the Lord of the Rings. I was 14 The first time I read the first book in the series, and it's always been my favorite since I saw the whole story in my head when I read it. So there was no need for me to go to the cinema when Peter Jackson directed the films.
