At 8:00 AM last Sunday, My school organized a club activity day for every student at Gia Dinh high school and their parents to take part in. The event took place in the schoolyard and drew a lot of attention.
Because it was held on the weekend, many people attended. Nearly 300 students went to school on that day to take part in the event to find out which clubs are suitable for them. A club day also attracted the attention of their parents because they wanted to know what activities the clubs have and how useful it was for their children. All parents and students were extremely happy and excited.
From my point of view, the event was quite successful because it has brought a lot of benefits for the students.
In my view, the event would be perfect if there were more activities on the stage such as dancing, singing or some games to make the atmosphere more exciting. Secondly, the organizer should place more trash bins in the yard in the next event.

Theo quan điểm của tôi, sự kiện này khá thành công vì nó đã mang lại rất nhiều lợi ích cho các em học sinh.
Theo tôi, sự kiện sẽ hoàn hảo hơn nếu có thêm các hoạt động trên sân khấu như nhảy, hát hoặc một số trò chơi để không khí sôi động hơn. Thứ hai, ban tổ chức nên đặt thêm thùng rác ở sân trong sự kiện tiếp theo.

Last Thursday was the first meeting of the fitness club. This is a new club which I have organised with two classmates. We all love sport and PE and we thought it would be a good idea to encourage other people to be more active. We met in the gym after school and then we went out onto the playing field. Luckily the weather was good.
Fifteen students turned up for the club. Eight of them were girls and seven were boys, and we all spent an hour doing a variety of games and exercises. For example, we played volleyball in the gym and football on the playing field.
All in all, I think the meeting was a success. Fifteen students is a good number, especially for a first meeting, although it would of course be better with more. Everybody took part very enthusiastically, which is very encouraging.
In the future, I hope to organise a wider variety of games and sports. I also plan to advertise the club better, with posters on the main noticeboard and an article in the school newspaper. I’d also like us all to enter a fun run next spring. We could even wear special costumes!
