Beth: No, this is my brother’s room. And that strange poster is his favourite new band - they're terrible. They look like vampires. They played in Victoria Gardens a couple of months ago and he loved them.
Lenny: So why are you in your brother's room?
Beth: Oh, it’s crazy. This new house is lovely - lots of grass and trees and a river, but the wi-fi signal is rubbish. This is the best place in the house! In my room I can’t phone and I can’t get online. Or if I do, then everything stops after a few seconds.
Lenny: So everyone wants to use your brother’s room!
Beth: Yes. He isn’t very happy about it! The phone company is doing something soon - very soon, I hope. There’s some signal at the end of the garden. So, I sometimes take my phone down there to call people. Anyway, how about you? Is everything OK?
Lenny: Yeah, I got a new tablet for my birthday. It's lighter than my smartphone and it can do lots of things. I sent you some photos I took with it yesterday.
Beth: Yes, they’re cool. Oh no, my brother’s here!... Oh Owen, please - just five minutes?
Owen: It’s always five minutes! I want to listen to some music!
Beth: You can listen to music downstairs.
Owen: I want to listen to it in my room, while I'm on my bed.
Beth: Please? You can go in my room.
Owen: Oh yes, and look at pretty pictures of horses and Justin Bieber - I don’t think so. Can’t you call your friend back?
Beth: I have my guitar lesson soon, so I only need a couple of minutes.
Lenny: Owen, it’s me, Lenny. Come on, mate.
Owen: Oh Lenny, it’s you. OK, five minutes. Then ... can I ask you some questions about my Maths homework?
Lenny: Sure. Bye! See you later. Now, Beth, when can I visit...
