Next on our list is Son Doong Cave. It's one of the most impressive natural wonders in the world. You can find it in Quang Binh Province, Vietnam.

It is over 9 km long, up to 150 m wide, and up to 200 m deep. An underground river, which runs through the cave, created the cave's shape millions of years ago.

Overall, it is 38.5 million m3 (cubic meter) in size. This makes it the largest known cave passage in the world by volume. Mr. Hồ Khanh, who is a local man, discovered the cave in 1991. He found it again in 2008, and that was when the world first heard about the cave.

You can only visit Son Doong Cave from January to August. After August, heavy rains, which cause flooding, make it very difficult to get in and out of the cave.

There is only one way to visit the cave. There is a special five-day tour, which has cave experts and tour guides. It's a challenging but unique experience, which you should try when you visit this cave. However, the number of visitors each year is limited to protect the cave from damage.

3 Amazing Caves in Southeast Asia

Many tourists know Southeast Asia for its beaches and national parks, but they often miss another kind of natural wonder hidden there. In this article, we'll explore three amazing caves in Southeast Asia!

Goa Pindul Cave is famous for its river. Visitors can float along it and enjoy the fantastic rock formations. Goa Pindul Cave's far more accessible than many other caves. Visitors can reach it without having to hike or climb.

Deer Cave is much bigger than Goa Pindul Cave. It's over four kilometers long. Visitors can see wildlife here, including deer. It's a bit more difficult to reach than Goa Pindul Cave. There's a long walk, so visitors should bring strong shoes and raincoats.

Son Doong Cave is far bigger than both the others. Because of this, it's much more scenic than most other caves. It has things like a forest, underground rivers, and a rock formation called "The Great Wall of Vietnam". It's in a rainforest, so it isn't as accessible as Deer Cave, and it's much more expensive to visit.

Fakenham is well known for its natural beauty, including several beautiful forests and waterfalls. In this article, we are going to tell you all you need to know about the local waterfalls here in Fakenham.

Bless Falls is a very famous waterfall, and many people consider it to be the best of Fakenham’s natural wonders. It’s much bigger than any other waterfall in the area. However, it isn’t as accessible as the others. You can only visit it by helicopter.

Wish Falls is another great waterfall. It isn’t as big as Bless Falls, but it’s just as nice to visit. It’s a bit smaller than the other waterfalls in the area, but it’s far more beautiful. It’s just a short walk from Fakenham Grand Hotel. Wish Falls is also a great place to have a picnic, and you’ll often find locals gathering there on the weekends.

Our family trip to Phong Nha – Kẻ Bàng National Park

UNESCO World Heritage Sites

The UNESCO World Heritage List contains over 1,100 sites that are important to culture or nature. Here are two of our planet’s natural wonders.

Surtsey Island, Iceland

UNESCO made Surtsey Island a World Heritage Site in 2006. Surtsey is an island, but sixty years ago it wasn’t even there. It came up out of the sea in the 1960S. Nobody lives there. The only visitors were a few scientists. They wanted to see what would happen if they let things grow naturally, so they didn’t bring any pants or animals to the island. Over time, they noticed that the wind and sea brought other pant life to the island, and birds carried insects, and small creatures there. Bo visitors can go there because it’s a big science experiment and UNESCO protects it.

Subantartic Islands, New Zealand

UNESCO put these five islands on the World Heritage List in 1998. Nowadays, no one lives on them anymore. The weather is too cold and windy to grow plants for food. Scientists visit them to study and tourists visit them to see amazing wildlife. There are birds such as the world's smallest penguins and large albatrosses with a wingspan of 3.3 meteres. There are also seals, sea lions and whales in the sea off the coast. Many of the animals and birds there don’t live anywhere else o Earth.
