Hey! Do you dream of exotic places? Of trips to distant deserts and mountains? Do you dream of adventure? Well, Liz Clark has been living that dream, and I've been following her inspirational blog.

After finishing university, Liz learned to sail as one of her old professors offered to lend her his yacht for as long as she wanted it.

In October 2005, she set off on her journey. Liz found it hard to leave behind her friends and family, but she's been travelling to many fascinating places for over fifteen years. Among other countries, she has stopped off in Mexico, Costa Rica, Panama and the Galapagos Islands.

When she stops somewhere, she surfs, does yoga and writes her blog. Adverts on Liz's blog have been paying for her trip. There are beautiful beaches, crystal clear water and perfect surf in her photos.

But life on the ocean can also be difficult. ‘It feels so great to inspire others to live their dreams,' says Liz, ‘I've worked hard and it hasn't always been easy or fun.’

She also gets very lonely, but she keeps going. She's looking for some company on the boat to stay with her as she carries on her journey around the world. Liz, I think I'll join you! Does anyone else want some adventure?

I've just come back from one of the most terrifying experiences of my life: the Caminito del Rey. You wouldn't believe how scary it is, but I've walked up to it and felt very afraid! The Caminito del Rey is near Malaga in Spain. The name means 'the king's little path, although for years, people have been calling it 'the most dangerous path in the world. Now that I've seen it, I understand why!

The Caminito is a one-metre-wide path, 100 metres up a cliff, above the beautiful Guadalhorce River and Hoyo Valley. It's more than 100 years old. Workers used to use it to get from the Chorro Falls to the Gaitanejo Falls. Over the years, holes have formed along the path and some parts of it are completely missing. You obviously need to be extremely careful there.

I recommend this path to people who love epic challenges. The views are amazing, but there have been some serious accidents here. So it's definitely not for people who haven't climbed rocks before!

Update 06.09.2015

I’ve been visiting Spain this week and I returned to Caminito yesterday. Guess what? They've replaced the old path! The new path is made of wood and is very safe. I hear they've been working on it for four years, and have spent nearly €10 million! This has attracted more visitors to the cliff, but for me, the real thrill of the dangerous journey has gone.

Tôi vừa trở về sau một trong những trải nghiệm kinh hoàng nhất trong đời: Caminito del Rey. Bạn sẽ không tin nó đáng sợ đến thế đâu, nhưng tôi đã bước lên đó và cảm thấy rất sợ hãi! Caminito del Rey nằm gần Malaga ở Tây Ban Nha. Cái tên này có nghĩa là 'con đường nhỏ của nhà vua', mặc dù trong nhiều năm, người ta gọi nó là 'con đường nguy hiểm nhất thế giới'. Bây giờ tôi đã nhìn thấy nó, tôi hiểu tại sao!

Caminito là con đường rộng 1 mét, cao 100 mét lên vách đá, phía trên Sông Guadalhorce xinh đẹp và Thung lũng Hoyo. Nó đã hơn 100 tuổi rồi. Các công nhân từng sử dụng nó để đi từ Thác Chorro đến Thác Gaitanejo. Qua nhiều năm, các hố đã hình thành dọc theo con đường và một số phần của nó đã biến mất hoàn toàn. Bạn rõ ràng cần phải cực kỳ cẩn thận ở đó.

Tôi giới thiệu con đường này cho những người yêu thích những thử thách hoành tráng. Quang cảnh thật tuyệt vời nhưng đã xảy ra một số tai nạn nghiêm trọng ở đây. Vì vậy, nó chắc chắn không dành cho những người chưa từng leo núi trước đây!

Tôi đã đến thăm Tây Ban Nha tuần này và tôi đã quay lại Caminito ngày hôm qua. Đoán xem cái gì? Họ đã thay thế con đường cũ! Con đường mới được làm bằng gỗ và rất an toàn. Tôi nghe nói họ đã làm việc này được 4 năm và đã chi gần 10 triệu euro! Điều này đã thu hút nhiều du khách đến với vách đá hơn, nhưng đối với tôi, cảm giác hồi hộp thực sự của cuộc hành trình nguy hiểm đã không còn nữa.

Have you had a good summer? I’m on an adventure holiday with my sisters! Today, they’ve done a water challenge. First, they dived off a rock into a big river.
